Connected or thinking about the system?

In my not so simple mind, the first part of recovery would be to know you have a problem. 

A system speaks to the way something begins and ends regardless of the people in the task or activities one may specialize in. 

An offer or a customer and the consumer. 

A service provider must be clear on the offer.
  1. Not one type of component in the offer for example;
  • A product specialist or product manager may only have expertise in the hardware component of an offer. 
  • A software specialist or product manager in software would only have limited knowledge in the subject without authority to directly influence the other component types in the offer. 
  • A Service specialist or service manager would not directly influence yet may prescribe the appropriate way to position the service in an offer. 
We simply haven't built our software systems; speaking of the major ERP systems to accomodate the solutions, bundles or offers. 
  1. Would you believe we have often never setup the item templates or elect not to use the information?
    1. Instead we've adopted this decision support or business intelligence concept
    2. Bias or Subjective views of the performance of a product when the requirement must be to supply the objective view with performance of all items in the offer. 
  2. Would you agree that this subject has the makings of a very complex project or mega project?
    1. Equal to the 5 year multi-national iniative run by a program manager and an army of external and internal resources. 
System Thinking the key to interoperability or another fancy tool?
  1. The key to interoperability in my mind. 
  2. The barriers in a bundle or solution remain hard coded in these complex systems.
